how I work
Ownership, full-stack follow-through.
I’m Nityam, a software engineer and final-year computer science student at SRM. I like owning the whole problem: understand the constraint, make the call, build the first version, and stay with it until it works in production. At Brackets Agency, that has meant shipping across mobile products, backend services and real-time fleet infrastructure.
I started with Flutter and shipped apps people actually use, then kept moving down the stack: Node and TypeScript services, RabbitMQ and Redis pipelines, AWS Lambda image processing, and concurrency work in C++. Go is where I’m putting my attention now—simple services, clear boundaries, and systems that behave well under pressure.
The through-line is ownership. I’m happiest when the brief is fuzzy, the system has teeth, and someone has to take responsibility for making it real. That means caring about failure modes, latency, retries and UX—and having the judgment to cut scope, ship, and learn from what happens next.

Voice and text journaling, emotion tagging, breathing exercises, an anonymous community feed and a virtual companion whose state follows the user’s activity. SwiftUI and UIKit with MVVM and Combine, Supabase for auth and storage, and a custom WebSocket relay for live voice sessions. Backend in Node.js, Express and Prisma.

Consultation audio that survives the network dropping out.
Medical transcription app with real-time audio streaming and patient management. Recordings are sliced into five-second chunks, queued locally through network drops and uploaded through presigned URLs with automatic retry, so no consultation audio is lost.
